I have lived in the Cowichan Valley most of my life (since 1980) and absolutely love it! Beautiful trees, ocean, lakes, rivers, mountains, great fishing and four distinct seasons...ahhhhhhh. Does it get any better? I attended Tansor Elementary, Mt Prevost & Cowichan Senior Secondary right here in the Cowichan Valley. I married my beautiful wife Sue in 1994 and we have 3 really awesome kids! :o)

My Business Experiences...
When I was 23 yrs old I started a hot air balloon business giving people rides in our 4 man balloon. That was a really cool business but it didn't last long. Myself and my other two business partners lacked the experience & patience necessary to make it work long term. After that I worked with the mentally challenged for 8 yrs right here in the Cowichan Valley and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a great experience and very rewarding.
Most of my business experience is in networking and the communications industry. I worked with an International Telecom company from 1999 - 2004 and had the opportunity to travel throughout North America & Europe building their customer base and training their representatives. I learned a lot about customer service and people as well as the importance of effective and regular communication. I also learned a lot about building teams where people worked together to achieve common goals.
