Melanie Murray

Melanie Murray brings over two decades of experience in commercial banking, business development, and real estate to her role as a licensed REALTOR®. Known for her professionalism, strategic insight, and calm, solutions-focused approach, Melanie excels at guiding clients through complex financial and real estate decisions with clarity and care.

She holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation and has a particular passion for working with downsizers, retirees, and families navigating life transitions. Her background in commercial banking gives her a strong understanding of financing, market dynamics, and negotiation — allowing her to advocate effectively for her clients at every stage of a transaction.

Inspired by helping her own parents through the emotional and logistical challenges of downsizing, Melanie also founded NextStep, a consulting service that supports seniors and their families through major life transitions. While separate from her real estate practice, this work deeply informs her approach as a REALTOR®, especially for clients facing complex or emotional moves. Outside of work, Melanie and her partner Ian enjoy boating in the Gulf Islands with their golden retriever, traveling, discovering local gems, and staying actively involved in the community.
