Realtor helps Buyers buy a piece of Vancouver Island paradise! Buyers who want to own a little piece of paradise have been turning to Vancouver Island Real Estate professional Nancy Vieira for years to make their dreams a reality.
The Pemberton Holmes Real Estate realtor offers clients over 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the Island where she was born and raised. "I love real estate and find joy in helping people make positive changes in their lives," Nancy says. "I have always felt a sense of playing an important role in one of the most key aspects of a person's life - shelter; finding them a forever home. I get great satisfaction when I see the happy-ever after moves in someone's life. The new beginning, the next step, on so many levels I am gratified by being a part of the process. "I enjoy all aspects of the industry - the finding, the negotiating, the finalizing and the handing over of the keys," she says. "I have a passion for land - it's the way to go - and I help a lot of people buy property as an investment for their future."
Nancy operated a small business in Calgary during the '80s "so I know all about working hard, and attract like minded people who are forward thinkers, and they're now planning for their retirement years younger and younger."
She works with many buyers who look for property on Vancouver Island from a parcel of land to build on later or a second home for vacations and eventual retirement. "We live in paradise here on the Island," Nancy says. 'Buyers are drawn here because our weather is calm and constant, we rarely see the white stuff, and the temperature creates a beautiful oasis of green and flowers."
"They can also enjoy outdoor pursuits year round, pursue hobbies or volunteer with a number of organizations," she notes. "We also have a thriving arts and culture, low crime, good medical and tons of direct flights so it's an easy commute from most places in Canada/USA - it's really an ideal lifestyle. "I specialize in attending to whatever real estate needs my clients have."
"I am comfortable protecting their interests wherever that might be and whether it is commercial, land, a prestigious home or a manufactured home," Nancy says. "I have many years experience helping clients from all walks of life and I'm confident and capable of doing my due diligence on their behalf." She's also developed a support network of professionals and experts including mortgage specialists, contractors, lawyers, designers, even movers to address any concern so clients benefit from her expertise every step of the way.
Nancy, who started out as an entrepreneur and self-motivator in the service industry, moved back to the Island early '90s where she created real estate office brochures with maps and local services for distributing to clients and was soon approached by the broker to become an agent; earning her licence in 1991.
The realtor loves how every day is different and enjoys tackling challenges such as learning contract law and real estate issues over the years that keep her fresh. "And always it is the people in the industry and the clients that I feel have been my motivation for staying in the top 10 per cent of sales at the local real estate board." Whether buying or selling, Nancy's clients are kept well informed as she keeps up-to-date on changes in technology, using the Internet and other forms of communication, even Skyping clients as needed. "E-mail and text messages are common now and I love being anywhere and still knowing I can be there for my clients."
She gets tremendous satisfaction from helping clients, but also enjoys sharing her expertise with others in the industry and helping the industry move forward. "I feel the most outstanding recognition of my career is in my actions and being given the opportunity of mentoring and teaching others."
She also volunteers in the community at the Crisis Centre, supports the local museum and the military and helps local children who need assistance in sports and camps.
During her career, Nancy earned an award for the realtor with the highest ethics and has been a Gold Member recipient for several years with the Victoria Real Estate Board and Pemberton Holmes Ltd, as well as being in the top 10 in sales. Nancy says much of the reason for her success is due to the love and support from her husband of 25 years Dino and daughter Marisa.
